


Walkerton FC is a Qualified Soccer Provider, all programs we offer are in accordance with Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer guidelines.
All of our programs rely on community volunteers to act as coaches in teams of 2 for teams U7 and older. Without volunteers, our teams do not operate.
The information provided below reflects the 2026 season.
Jewellery
All jewelry must be removed.
Jewelry CANNOT be taped or covered (even new piercings), it must be removed.
This is in accordance with the health and safety rules in place by Ontario Soccer. Referees will enforce this at all Walkerton FC games, and away games. No jewelry is not a referee or club rule, it is Ontario Soccer Association.
MEMO FOR U6 TIMBITS:
The traditional U6 Timbits program will be incorporated with the new U7 program. The U7 program structure has changed significantly with the new regulations by Ontario Soccer. U7 will be small sided games with Timbit style pop-up nets and fewer players on the field to increase player ball contact.
Equipment
- Shinpads are MANDATORY for all programming
- Soccer cleats are optional, but recommended
- Black shorts and black socks are required
- Jerseys are loaned out to players for the season as they are used for multiple seasons, jersey deposits are required upon registration. Any lost or damaged jerseys not returned/returned damaged by September 1st will be subject to penalty. Exemption: Timbits, U7, and Adult 5v5
JERSEY DEPOSIT - For U9+
When registering select INSTALMENTS for the jersey deposit. If you do not select instalments, you will be charged the full price of the jersey at initial registration. Your jersey payment at your final payment should be 0.

Refund Policy
Any desired refund requests must be sent to registerwfc@gmail.com. Full refunds may be granted before April 1st at the discretion of the club. After April 1st, no refunds will be given. Withdrawal from a program can jeopardize the ability to run a team. For late registrations, a $30 late fee will be applied after March 31st.
Discipline
As a player and spectator of soccer with Walkerton FC, there are Player and Spectator Codes of Conduct to abide by. Failure to abide by the instated codes of conduct may result in action taken in the form of a Discipline by Review System (DBR) and subsequent monetary fines and/or attendance sanctions. As a player/spectator, you will be responsible to report to, and be accountable to, Walkerton FC regarding any misconduct and consequences.
Fee Breakdown
Fees cover costs for running the season (varies by age group) field maintenance (lines, nets), equipment (game balls, medical kits, etc.) referee per game fees, club & player seasonal insurance, governing body fees (EMSA and Ontario Soccer), field rental fees (mowing, watering, seeding) from the Municipality, other operational infrastructure and processes, etc.
